Smart Dimmer Switch Kit Overview
The Smart Dimmer Switch Kit includes a Main and Secondary Switch. Ensure your electric box has a neutral wire (in white color) before purchasing. If uncertain, send a photo of the inner part of your electric box. Our team will assess it for you promptly.
3-Way Application
This dimmer switch is designed for 3-way installations. The Main switch will not function with standard 3-way switches. It allows you to control the light from two different locations, such as from the top and bottom of stairs, from a door to your bed, or from a hallway to a stairway.
HomeKit Remote Control
To enable HomeKit remote control, you need a HomePod, Apple TV 4K, or an Apple TV HD. Place one of these Apple devices in your house as a HomeKit bridge and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network. The HomeKit bridge must remain online; otherwise, remote control will not function.
Voice Control and Time Setting
The Meross dimmer switch is compatible with Apple HomeKit, Apple Watch, Siri, CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. Voice commands can be used to turn the lights on or off, even when you are away from home. This feature is particularly useful for deterring potential intruders. Additionally, it supports sunrise and sunset settings.
Easy Installation
Installation is straightforward and takes only 15 minutes. The Meross smart switch fits existing 1/2/3/4 gang standard size Decora/GFCI faceplates. The switch uses 2.4G Wi-Fi only, does not support 5G, and does not require a hub. It is also compatible with SmartThings.
